This is the first installment of a series of recordings that we're going to make available to download, FOR FREE. Some of them, like this one, will be live performance recordings -- we also have a lot of jam sessions from practice that contain moments of brilliance. We're going to sift through those, and put together a collection of the best segments for your listening pleasure. Let's begin, shall we?
Once upon a time, mouse.about played an unplugged acoustic show at Clementine Coffee Bar in Austin. We recorded this set and came away with some good stuff. This was a fun night with good friends in a cool setting, and this was also the first time I played the banjo in public. (!) The song "Modern Age Girl" was debuted this night, and is included here, as well as a couple of rare early mouse.about tunes ("Welcome Too" and "Leave Yourself Behind").
