Bio
Mouse.About formed in March of 2005 in Austin Texas. Songwriter and guitarist Peter O'Dowd and drummer Shane Kullberg had previously shared the stage in Austin band Murfph. John Cassibry was added on bass and has the best hair of the group. Along the way Sean Friend joined up and added his guitar to the mix. Mouse.About has released one self titled debut. The music is a genre jumping mix of jazz, rock, pop, punk, reggae, and polka. You'll find them in the Red River district clubs in Austin. Room 710 and Red Eyed Fly are regular gigs for the band. They have been featured on 90.5 FM KUT "The Laurie Show", on Unsigned Rock Zone Podcast (episode 30) , and at Waterloo Records "Hear Texas Here" listening Stations. Tight and winding vocal harmonies are a trademark to the MouseAbout sound. "If you have a desire for something a little bit off the beaten music path, with an edge of quirkiness then MouseAbout's self titled release is for you." CW Ross - Indie Music Stop

Pete's Bio:
Pete was an heir to the Guinness Beer fortune, but gave up his wealth to play music in Austin, TX. He once sold his soul to the devil in exchange for some new guitar strings, but he later got out of the deal with the help of a good lawyer. He spends his spare time building monster trucks and herding sheep.

Shane's Bio:
Shane Kullberg (AKA Phatty G) is an actor and musician from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He studied theatre at Sam Houston State University and has worked professionally in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and Chicago. Shane played the Ringmaster in Ruby Red Co. production of A Broken Clock Cabaret. Phatty G has slapped the skins in several musical endeavors, including Murfph (with O'Dowd). He currently performs with Mouse.About, Nano and the Afternoon, and the WK Burchanal project. Mr. Kullberg also has a huge butt of which he is very proud!

John's Bio:
John first picked up the guitar at age 12, and started playing bass one day in high school when somebody asked him to. Seeing the Grateful Dead at age 16 had a profound impact, and music became a lifelong passion. Always ready for a jam session, John is into all kinds of music, from jazz to bluegrass, and everything in between. He can fix your computer, and recite epic poetry in Latin, at the same time if needed.

Sean's Bio:
As a young'un in SW Louisiana, I learned to play the piano and promptly quit because I'm a dumb ass. Thus, my career tickling the ivories came to an end. Later on, in small town Mississippi, I picked up the guitar because it is cool and rebellious to do so. I learned to play by banging out some truly horrible tunes with a couple of cover bands. I ventured up to Memphis, played in a few bands and sort of figured out how to play this friggin' instrument. Sort of. I came to Austin about a year ago because I love endangered species and bars that close at 2:00.
